GPUs for Good - From Project VIC International and Sumuri

A Charitable Pilot Turning Excess GPUs Into Tools That Help Law Enforcement Fight Child  Exploitation

Donate your older GPU for Good and get a tax receipt from Project VIC International, a non-profit 501(c)(3). We test the GPU and then put it into the hands of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) taskforce whose members work every day to find and rescue children. Pilot initiative is for USA ICAC Taskforce.

ICAC Investigators are typically buried in cases and analyzing millions of details.

Adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI)  helps investigators work more efficiently and effectively to  find and rescue children from sexual exploitation.

Only a small percent of Cyber Tips result in an arrest because investigators are overwhelmed. Many cases have millions of details to review that are sourced from dozens of evidence items. Cases build up, and sometimes children don't get the justice they deserve.

Local Police Departments have few resources to go around. We have heard from them that it could take 6-24 months to get the budget to buy a GPU. We have heard you and created this pilot initiative to respond.

AI  Requires GPUs to Run at Scale.  An average case can have over 50K+ images and videos to review. A single older GPU can increase an investigator's review of multimedia by 30x. Some investigators have to review terabytes of video in a single case.

ICAC investigators use advanced AI and machine learning tools to analyze massive amounts of digital data quickly to connect the dots—time is critical in these cases.

Powerful GPUs make this possible, but many departments lack the resources to purchase them or upgrade their old GPU to a newer, more capable version. Your donation provides the hardware they need to speed up investigations and protect children from offenders.

GPUs for Good is a Joint Initiative

Project VIC International and Sumuri have teamed up to get the initiative started.

The ICAC investigators we work with oftentimes cannot run new AI tools because they don't have a GPU. We noticed that gamers, crypto miners, companies and large agencies oftentimes have excess older GPUs that no longer meet their needs.

Those older GPUs are still useful for ICAC investigators. We launched GPUs for Good to accept donated GPUs, test them, and ship them to the investigators who are in need. Our teams volunteer to support this charitable initiative.

We are Starting GPUs for Good as a Pilot Initiative and Plan to Build it Up if it is Successful

Pilot Initiative Schedule:
GPU Collection & Testing : September 1 - January 31, 2026

Ship GPUs to ICAC: January 1 - March 30, 2026

Analyze and Publish Initiative Performance: April 2026

Our Key Performance Indicators for GPUs for Good Pilot:
1. 100+ GPUs are donated during the Pilot Phase.
2. We process and ship up to 100 GPUs to ICAC officers in need.
3. Receive verification from ICAC Commanders of usage by 50 ICAC officers.
4. Receive financial donations to cover shipping and ancillary costs of the pilot.

Regular Updates:
We will update each contributor once we receive, test, and ship the donated GPU.
We will post initiative performance details to this website and to our social media channels.
If we meet our KPIs, we will consider creating a follow-on program.
